Timber: Choose between solid oak or solid walnut

Small dimensions: approximately 8.5cm diameter, and 3cm height

A: Yes- we use a non-toxic, food-safe oil or wax finish that is safe for kitchen use.

Q: Can I place wet items (e.g. washed herbs) directly on the dish?
A: Place only dry items in dish as moisture left on the wood surface will be absorbed, causing marks.

Q: Will the wood change colour over time?
A: Yes- with light exposure and use, the wood may develop a richer patina. Walnut may mellow slightly, oak may deepen, depending on display lighting and environment.

Q: Can this dish be used outdoors?
A: We don’t recommend exposure to direct sunlight, high moisture or extreme humidity, as these conditions may affect the wood over time. If you would like to use your Onslow Salt Dish for outdoor entertaining then simply bring it back inside once you’re finished, to help preserve the life of the dish.

To preserve the Onslow Salt Dish’s beauty and integrity over the years, please follow these guidelines:
